This Privacy Policy explains how Brain Fam ("Brain Fam," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Brain Fam mobile app (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to this policy.
Brain Fam uses third-party artificial intelligence services (such as OpenAI) to generate quiz questions. To do this, we send non-identifying inputs such as a category, an age range, a difficulty level, and previously seen questions. We do not send your email address or a family member's name to these services.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us run the App, and only as needed:

Brain Fam is designed to be used by families and is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or adult account holder. Accounts may only be created by someone aged 13 or older. Any information about children (such as a child's first name or date of birth) is entered by the adult account holder and is used solely to personalize the experience within the family's own account. We do not knowingly allow children to create their own accounts or use the App to collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided us information improperly, contact us and we will delete it.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings), which removes your family data from our systems. You can also email us to request deletion.
Depending on where you live (including the UK, EU/EEA, and California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. You may also withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be communicated in the App.
